November 23, 2019 - Island Beach State Park, Dune Grass Planting

To join your friends at Maristella Mission for this dune preservation event, register here with the Friends of Island Beach State Park. Planting beach grass helps to build the dunes and stabilize the sand so it doesn't blow away. This helps to create a barrier between the ocean and residential areas while increasing coastal resiliency to storms.
