31,000 New Dune Grass Plants Planted

Fun, beautiful day planting dune grasses in Island Beach State Park. As you know, planting beach grass helps to build the dunes and stabilize the sand so it doesn't blow away. This helps to create a barrier between the ocean and residential areas while increasing coastal resiliency to storms.
