The Assignment - Do Something to Change the World
The idea for Maristella Mission was sparked by a high school legacy project (thanks Miss D!) that went something like this: “Do something to change the world and tell us about it at the end of the year.” After some reflection, I realized that changing the world can only happen when you embark on something you’re passionate about. With my love of oceans and marine life, an awareness of the ocean pollution problem, and a desire to make a difference by doing the right thing, Maristella Mission was launched. While there is much work to be done, we are dedicated to changing the world and doing it right! Like a lighthouse on the coast, our “Beacons of Success” below will keep us true to our course as we move forward on this journey.
- Awareness – Develop the best, environmentally-friendly product line possible to promote awareness for the health of our oceans, while supplementing this with our educational blogs and events.
- Service – Sponsor and participate in community outreach and service opportunities.
- Charity – Donate 20% of our profits to like-minded organizations that support marine conservation and exploration.
Thank you for joining us in making a difference! We know that we cannot take on this challenge alone. Please feel free to share our crusade with your family and friends.
